Zusammenfassung:The impedance of the accumulator is continuously rising during charging. The d.c. generator voltage is converted by a control circuit into a voltage required for charging, using a chopper whose a.c. voltage is converted by a transformer and supplied to a rectifier. The output voltage and current of the control circuit are measured and their respective values multiplied. The measuring current, the multiplication product, and pref. the measured voltage are stored. Then the periodic ratio of the chopper is slightly changed, and the control circuit output current measured again. After computing the product of this output current value with the available stored voltage, this product is compared with the previous one. The periodic chopper ratio is changed in the same or opposite direction according to the comparison of the two products. The process is repeated until a maximum product of the last measured current with the stored voltage is obtained.
