Zusammenfassung:	Easily dispersible Cd pigments, e.g. CdS or Cd sulphides having varying ZnS or CdSe contents, contain, w.r.t. pigment wt., 0.05-5 (0.1-1)% each of inorganic- and organic substances. The inorganic substances are esp. difficultly soluble cpds. of Al, Zr, Zn and/or Ti. The organic substances can be ionic and nonionic tensides, silicones, silicone foam-inhibitors, polyglycols, alkoxylated mono- or polyhydric alcohols, aminoalcohols and/or polyethers. Cd pigment use for colouring plastics and lacquers is claimed. Pigment dispersion in lacquers and plastics is quick, without specking and without loss in colouring power. In an example, a speck-free PVC sheet was obtd. after 2 min. in adding both Al2O3 and organic cpd., as opposed to over 16 min. with Al2O3 alone or 8-16 min. with organic cpd. above.
