Zusammenfassung:	The valve has a housing with inlet and outlet ports. The inlet is connected to a pressure source, and has a sealing unit. The sealing unit is fastened via a connection element to a piston, which is axially displaceable in a housing bore. The unit is actuated by an electrically ignited pyrotechnic charge. The charge (9), e.g. cartridge, is located in the piston (8). The space between the front face of the piston, when in its front end position, and an opposite surface of a housing aperture (1) accommodating the piston, is connected via a passage (11) in the piston to the charge. The two surfaces are pref. conical, and at a small relative distance.
