Knife fine sharpening tool - has grinding and felt bodies forming composite driven unit with protruding felt surface

The tool is for the fine sharpening, and particularly the honing and deburring, of knife edges, using machine-driven grinding, polishing and felt bodies. These grinding, polishing (1) and felt (2) bodies together form a composite driven unit, the working face of the felt body being supplied with coolant liq. and situated between those of the grinding and polishing bodies. It is parallel to the latter and protrudes slightly beyond them. The felt body can be composed of felt discs or rings mounted concentrically between the other bodies, rotating with them, and forming with them a laminated packet.
