Zusammenfassung:A cylinder tripping mechanism for a printing press for selectively a shifting a press cylinder 11 into and out of impression with another press cylinder 20, includes eccentric mounting 13 for the one cylinder. A toggle linkage is connected to the eccentric mounting and has a pair of abutments 83, 84 on either side of a fixed pivot 36. A reciprocable pusher, operated in timed relationship with the cylinders, is selectively shiftable e.g. by solenoid 86 to engage one or the other of the abutments to shift said toggle linkage from one side to the other side of center position and thereby move the one cylinder toward or away from the other cylinder.
