Zusammenfassung:The viewing system has a visualisation screen (4) divided into a number of different zones (4') with a switch panel having a series of switches (18) each corresp. to one of these zones (4'). The switches (18) are operated by the observer to select the new direction of view via a setting control (8) for the viewing system (1) activated by operation of the switches (18). Pref. an electronic setting control (8) is used, including a summing circuit receiving a signal from a gyro and a signal indicating the angular velocity of the target viewing system. Its output is fed to an integrator with an initial value set by operating one of the switches (18).
