Zusammenfassung:	The arrangement is intended for a combined gas turbine (1) and steam turbine power plant. The exhaust gas (15) of the gas turbine (12) heats a steam generator (2) whilst nitrous oxides are removed. When starting up the plant, the gas turbine is initially run at low and constant load, the exhaust passed through the steam generator unit (2) and the steam produced fed as barrier steam to the shaft seals of the steam turbine (33), after which the steam turbine is started (32). When switching-off, steam supply to the turbine (33) is first discontinued (32). The turbine (12) is run at constant low load for a given time, whilst continuing the barrier steam supply.
