Zusammenfassung: | Process for prepn. and sepn. of oil/water emulsions involves pretreatment and heating the feed before a membrane treatment. The emulsion is first sepd. by a froth sepn. process with simultaneous heating. The outlet line from the storage sump has two automatic valves or an automatic two-way valves which allows the pumped slurry to be diverted past the membrane unit for the pretreatment. The sump has a heating coil in it and the inlet line to circulation pump has an air inlet line with a flow meter in it to regulate the amt. of air added before pumping to the froth flotation trough. Used for sepg. spent lubricating emulsions or recovery oils and fats (mineral, vegetable or animal). Provides an effective and economic process to separate emulsions which does not require a lot of space, is not expensive and does not require high maintenance. |
