Storage box for camera - has external solar cells used to recharge camera batteries

The storage box for a camera with electric ancillaries has external solar cells which charge the camera batteries without requiring power cord connections. The camera plugs into the case supply and has a power converter (14) which converts the output from the solar cells into a drive voltage to charge the batteries. The case enables the user to operate the camera when isolated from main power supplies. The case is locked to prevent loss of the camera and can be secured to a vehicle etc. to prevent theft. The camera batteries are mounted in a folding pistol grip.
