A liquid cleaner based on an aqueous solution of anionic surfactants, optionally in conjunction with nonionic surfactants, solvents, solution promoters, corrosion inhibitors, preservatives, thickeners and also dyes and fragrances, characterized in that it contains from 2 to 40 % by weight of a 50:50 (parts by weight) mixture of a sulfated adduct of 1 to 5 moles of ethylene oxide with an n-C12 -alkanol and with an n-C14 -alkanol and, optionally, up to 20 % by weight of a surface-active betaine.
