Zusammenfassung:	The servo operated lifting frame for the side of a canvas covered lorry or trailer has a rectangular frame pivoted about the top edge on each side to swing outwards and upwards to lift the canvas without creasing. The frame is operated by parallel hydraulic servos (23) near the centre of the frame. The frame extends the whole length of a side and has tubular sections to prevent tearing the canvas. Knuckle joints (15) link the frame to the lorry structure while the frame covers the top half of each side.
