Counterflow column fluid distributor - with perforations and run=off tongues on parallel side walls of channels

Fluid distributor of a counterflow column consists of parallel horizontal U-shaped channels with vertical extensions to their flanges in which triangular and slotted holes for the fluid outlet are arranged. Another vertical wall parallel to each extension has lines of outlet holes for the fluid above curved run-off tongues and is joined to the channel extensions along the top and bottom edge. Such a fluid distributor is equally efficient at very small and very great fluid flow rates. It ensures a uniform distribution even in case of non-uniform fluid flow rates.
