Zusammenfassung:	The explosion protected lamp cover for e.g. industrial premises, is designed to prevent the build up of electrostatic charges. The transparent cover includes a hollow body (1) attached to thermally welded transparent strips (2) of plastics foil. These are divided into zones by earthed conductors (3). The foil and the hollow body can both be made of a polycarbonate material. The earthed conductors are electrically connected along the edge of the cover by a strip (4) with an earthed connection. In an alternative design, the conductors can be formed as a rectangular grid.
