| Zusammenfassung: | A single stage process is used for the evacuation of vacuum switching tubes. The vacuum tube (2) is located in an oven (1) and has the electrical connections coupled to a ground line and to a power supply over a relay (7) and a h.v. lead element (6). The oven has an outlet pipe that connects with a vacuum pump (8). In operation, the tube is heated to between 400 and 650 deg.C at which point the vacuum pump is operated. The relay (7) is actuated to allow electrical discharge of the contacts. |
