Zusammenfassung:	The stand is formed by a column holder (4) mounted on a support base (2) and fitted with shelves (7,10) mounted one above the other and each provided with an opening through which the holder (4) is passed. The shelves (7,10) are supported on the column holder (4) by retaining elements pref. in the form of spacers (9,12) which are pushed onto the column to span the distance between the base (2) and lowest shelf (7) and between each two adjoining shelves. For a varied display at least one of the shelves can be a flat plate (10) whilst a further shelf can be dish-shaped (7) to take bulk loose goods.
