Zusammenfassung:	The steam generator comprises a combustion chamber (1) with injector head (3) via which hydrogen and oxygen are introduced, whilst water is injected via separate orifices which are so arranged that the water is injected into the flow of combustion gas over the entire cross-section of the chamber. The chamber wall (2) may contain sets of such orifices each arranged in two parallel transverse planes and inclined such that their jets meet in a plane between these two planes and thus form a transverse water curtain. The two transverse planes of each pair are preferably closely spaced.
