Zusammenfassung:	A device for searching for the presence of a sweet in the radial holding elements of a wrapping wheel 1 of a sweet wrapping machine comprising a search control wheel 13 which rotates in synchronism with the wheel 1, is provided with radially pivotally mounted searching levers 14, and has in the centre of its interior a stationary cam 21 on which rests for each searching lever 14 a roller 19 of a spring-loaded lever 18, arranged so that when the lever 14 is not moved inwardly by a sweet, the free end 15 of the lever 14 engages a notch 22 in the lever 19 causing the lever 19 to be maintained in a radially outwardly position to deflect an element 23 thereby causing an upper wrapper feed roller 4 to be lifted.
