Zusammenfassung:	On a housing is a pair of brackets (2), each pair being used to hold one electrode. Each bracket contains a shaft ending in a ball joint next to a contact plate pressed against the electrode by the axial movement of the shaft. On the rear end of each shaft is a U-shaped wedge driven at 90 deg. w.r.t. the axis of the shaft to move the latter axially. The advantage is very simple construction of the holder plus a reliable electric connection supplying electric current to the electrode.
