Zusammenfassung:A gas generator with an automatic grate has inside the rotary grate a distributor head for the gasifying medium. The head is sealed relative to the central supply pipe and is connected thorugh horizontal pipes with expansion joints for the compensation of thermal elongations to the distributor chambers inside the grate. This ensures a uniform distribution of the gasifying medium, prevents channeling in the fixed generator bed and raises the capacity of a gas generator.
