Zusammenfassung: | Thevehicle, such as a motor grader (10), has variable speed reversible main and supplementary drives to respective wheels (18, 26). An electronic control unit comprises speed sensors associated with each drive and control appts. for processing the signals from them. A control signal is produced representative of the difference between a predetermined portion of the command signal from the main drive speed sensors and the feedback signal from the supplementary drive speed sensors. Servo appts. responsive to the control signal changes the speed of the supplementary drive proportionally, to be les than the speed of the main drive by a predetermined percentage. In a second operative mode there is provided a predetermined of overspeed of the supplementary drive. |
