The evaporator incorporates a thermostat (10) controlling the current supply to the electric motor of a compressor (4), with a heat exchange (5) in its oil sump, coupled to a heating coil (7) in a hot water storage tank (6). The line from the heat exchanger (5) within the compressor sump to the main heat exchanger (3) of the cooling system pref. incorporates a filter and drying capsule (12).
