Printed bags making machine - has two parallel cutters, second one trimming front end in region of folding mandrel

The machine is intended for making folding bags from a pre-printed strip of material. It comprises a folding mandrel (1), a vertically movable channel (3) to fold the material around the mandrel, rollers (5, 6) to move lengths of material equal to the print spacing, and a cutter (7) to cut the rearward end of each length so moved. A second cutter (10) trims the forward end of each length. This cutter may be adjustable in the direction, in which the material is fed into the folding mechanism. The second cutter adjustment may be coupled to the mechanism sealing the filled bags so as to maintain constant filling level in the bags.
