Zusammenfassung:A watertight tailgate light has the lamp holder (14) inside a two part housing with an outer transparent cover (13) and an inner housing (17) which locates through a hole in the body, and which is sealed against the body by a first seal (30). The housing has a ridge which locates in a groove around the hole and a further seal (24) seals the edges of the two halves. The double seals provide a watertight housing as well as a watertight seal between the housing and the body, so that condensation is not trapped. The housing is attached to the body using rivets in the groove.
