Zusammenfassung: | Moulding materials are comprised of (a) 5-77 pts. wt. terminal unsaturated, urethane group-free polyesters, (b) 20-80 pts. wt. of a copolymerisable vinyl or vinylidene cpd. and (c) 3-25 pts. wt. of a rubbery elastic polymer with a glass transition temp. of -90 to 10 degrees C. On hardening, a second phase forms as particles with an av. dia. of 0.1-100 mu. The compsns. are relatively low viscosity clear solns. or storage stable dispersions with good handling properties. The cured prods. have high impact resistance and due to the high compatibility between the resin and the rubber additive, the rubber particles cannot be leached out with solvent as with prior art materials based on polyesters with randomly-distributed unsaturated gps., so that the cured prods. have improved chemical resistance. |
