Test card selection and checking system - uses slot along edge of card container, permitting insertion of checking member

The correcting or checking device for test cards is used for the multiple choice question and answer system. It has a test card support plate (1) which rests on top of a rectangular tray (2), leaving a gap (3) along one edge. One long side of the tray is open. The tops of the cards are thus visible through the gap before checking. After checking the cards can be removed through the open side. The selector clip consists of a flat strip with two side plates near one end, this latter end thus having a V-section. These two side plates are inserted through the gap to contact the cards below. There is an alternative design with a raised portion forming the gap for insertion of the selector.
