Zusammenfassung: | Natural gas of low pressure is compressed by utilising the pressure energy of natural gas or of a by-product gas at high pressure by allowing the natural gas to expand in a swirling-flow injector. Gas released from the separated fluid and/or from a flare separator is also directed in the injector. The pressure release of he liq., separated from natural gas takes place in not more than five stages; the gas from the second and third stage are injected in the first or second swirling flow injector. This eliminates the difficulties with mechanical compressors and achieves higher compression ratios than are possible with gas jet compressors. |
