| Zusammenfassung: | The stabiliser (6) has a rod (7) rotatably and resiliently connected (8) to the vehicle chassis (4) via two supports, each containing a double-acting hydraulic vibration damper (8). Preferably the latter is a hydraulic damping cylinder connecting the stabiliser to the vehicle body. The ends of the damper above and below the neutral position may be connected via a by-pass. The damper characteristic may vary so as to give stiffer action with increasing load. This system provides greater vibration damping without causing any discomfort to the driver. |
