Zusammenfassung:An impact wrench comprises an axially immovable anvil (2) having impact jaws (3), an axial bore (10) with a counterbore (11), a composite hammer including a driving part (12) coupled for rotation with a motor, an outer driven part (13) having impact jaws (3) of the anvil (2), and an inner driven part (14) received in the counterbore bore (11) of the anvil, the outer (13) and inner (14) driven parts of the hammer being connected to each other and to the driving part (12) of the hammer for a combined rotation and being axially-movable relative to the driving part (12) of the hammer and to the anvil (2). A device for a preliminary interaction of the hammer and anvil before engagement of their impact jaws (3, 4), includes spring-loaded locking members (5) mounted in the inner driven part (14) of the hammer in an axial space between the impact jaws of the hammer and anvil and engageable with cam surfaces (6) on the anvil.
