Zusammenfassung: | The separation efficiency of aerosol filters is measured by producing in a pressure vessel a spray pattern with a rotational symmetry to produce a test aerosol. Outlets distributed over a plane in the walls lead to one or several measuring set-ups, each consisting of a test specimen, an absolute filter, a flow meter and an adjustable restrictor. At least one outlet leads to a reference set-up with an absolute filter, flow meter and adjustable restrictor. The sepn. efficiency of aerosol filters, esp. for use in compressed air systems, can thus be measured with a high accuracy, using simple appts. and under conditions simulating field conditions. |
