Zusammenfassung:The asynchronous linear motor is esp. for the drive of a high speed ground vehicle, but can find application in conveying and different electric drives with linear or reciprocal movement of operating elements. It has an inductor containing three longitudinally laminated shanks, rigidly interconnected and having appropriate slots for the coils of the electric motor, the coils being arranged at the side of the secondary element whose conductive part (7) is mounted on a ferromagnetic support. The conductive part of the secondary element is in the form of two angles, whose horizontal flange (9) is mounted underneath two outer shanks (1) of the inductor. The tips of the flanges point against each other, and the middle shank of the inductor lies in the gap between vertical flanges (10) of the angular secondary element in such manner that its slot (5) face the side of one angular piece. The middle shank side, facing the other angular piece, has slots (11) symmetrical to the other slots, and into which is inserted an additional coil (12).
