Zusammenfassung:The flint ignited gas fuelled automatic pocket lighter is basically of conventional design. however the actuator (2) forms a cover for the entire top of the lighter and all moving parts are enclosed. The actuator is on a parallel-motion linkage using knock-out spindles. One link (13) has a clip-on spring follower (14) for rotating the igniter wheel. The support lever (15) of plastics with bearing surface material (17) sprayed-on, operates a lever (8) opening the fuel valve as actuator movement exposes the nozzle (5). A return tension spring (16) passes through a gap in the link to the moving spindle.
