Level indicator esp. for vehicle windscreen washer fluid - is brightly coloured float moving in transparent wall guide

The fluid level indicator for transparent, esp. plastics, containers, pref. windscreen washer fluid containers for vehicles, gives rapid level monitoring with improved visibility. The container side wall is shaped so as to form a guide for a float which is visible from outside the container. The guide section (5) is omega shaped and may be inwardly indented or outwardly projecting, with the level indicating float (6) enveloping the indentation or fitting inside the projection. The part of the container wall forming the guide is thinner than the rest of the container walls. The float is brightly coloured so as to be esp. conspicuous.
