Zusammenfassung: | Multi-part implant for the permanent anchoring of tooth substitutes comprises a socket and a metal pin. The socket contains an axially symmetrical, concentric boring for accepting a metal pin and consists of standard compact or composite bioactive bone substitute materials, at least in it external, peripheral area coming into contact with the implant bearing. An esp. 1-piece metal pin engages to lock the boring, so that at least half of the metal pin is anchored in the socket. The part of the pin projecting out of the socket is surrounded by a precisely fitting metal body which can be fixed securely. The socket may consist of a bioactive vitreous ceramic or a bioactive plastic composite material based on methacrylate. The implanted parts are anchored in jawbone and are also capable of organic - chemical growth mechanisms in vivo, leading to a complete intimate bond with the jawbone. The formation of a connective tissue layer at the contact surface of implant and living bone is prevented. |
