Zusammenfassung: | A seamless, tubular filter element woven or a small wares loom, comprising a relatively corse weft of plastic mono filament forming a helix with a defined space between adjacent turns, and thinner warp threads of plastic or metallic, partic. stainless steel, monofilaments. The dia. of the weft thread is 2.8 - 3.4 times that of the warp threads, and 3-4 times the filter gauge, with a spacing between adjacent turns of the helix of 9-10 times the filter gauge. The warp threads have a dia. of 1.35-1.75 times the filter gauge, with a spacing which is from 10%-35% less than the dia., i.e. 1.13-1.4 times the filter gauge. The element is partic. suitable for filters with a gauge of less than 100 mu m microns ), and has a high strength and precise gauge. Because it is constructed throughout of monofilaments and lacks a seam, dirt particles are collected entirely on the surface, making it partic. easy to clean. |
