Zusammenfassung:The IC engine (1) test rig consists of a speed regulator (12) and a subordinate torque regulator (15). The speed regulator (12) and position regulator (10) drive d.c. drive (8) for the fuel injection lever using a comparator (11). The torque regulator (15) controls the position regulator (6) driven d.c. drive (4) of the water brake damper (3) using a comparator (7). The torque regulator output is constrained to vary between controlled limits (19, 20) to prevent overshooting due to the damper inertia. Speed and torque can be set (14, 17) to run the motor to any operating point on its characteristic.
