Zusammenfassung:	A method of producing L-isoleucine which comprises culturing the strain of Brevibacterium flavum VNII Genetika 10-89 deposited under the number CMIM B-1507 in a nutrient medium containing sources of nitrogen, carbon, mineral salts and vitamins and under aerobic conditions. Said strain makes it possible to produce L-isoleucine with a yield of 17 g/l and more.
