Automatic camera focussing device - has electronic decoder circuit generating signal characterising range value and linked to contact path slip-ring combination

The camera focussing device uses a lens carrier which always has the same initial position before a photograph is taken. A decoder circuit has several signal outputs depending on the number of adjustable range values. Each signal output, except for the end position, is linked to a contact-path slip-ring combination and is connected to an electromagnetic setting device. The length of each contact path is adapted to the displacement of the lens carrier into the corresponding desired position.
