Zusammenfassung:Anti-glow-dischrge (anti-corona) armature for removal of load from alive electrodes inhigh-voltage switch ger, especially open-air switch installations, is made of rubber-elastic, electrically conductive material. The armature, as claimed, is mounted on the free ends of the electrodes. The conductive material is a silicone rubber with a specific current-flow resistance of 10 plus-or-minus 2 ohm. cm. The armature is superior to prior-art materla anti-glow-discharge armature because it enables the uniformly curved surface required for obtaining a uniform electric field to be achieved more easily by virture of its elasticity. It is also cheaper to produce than injection-moulded plastics armature for whose mfr complex moulds ar necessary.
