Zusammenfassung: | The usual test equipment for measurement of various parameters are combined in one test unit and connected to an IC engine. The engine is then operated in accurately specified, reproducible conditions. The engine is driven against the mass moments of inertia of its components without any additional load from slow idel running freely accelerating to top speed idle running, and then allowed to decelerate without fuel supply until it stops. Then the test unit processes the measured data as function of time and the results are compared with known rated values to determine if there are any functional faults in the engine. |
