Zusammenfassung:A new improved Ziegler type catalyst system for alpha-olefin type polymerization includes a mixture of at least one Group IVB to VIII transition metal halide, an alkyl metal dihalide, and an N or O containing alkyl metal compound which is an amide or an alkoxide. The improved catalyst system provides polymers having improved isotacticity at increased rates.
