Zusammenfassung:	The sealant contains by wt. of 20-30% sludge (a) obtd. from a clarification tank used in ammonia-soda mfr.; 20-25% of CaCl2 or MgCl2; and 50-55% water. The sealant is pref. pumped through flexible hoses or pipes, which may be fitted with nozzles, to form a continuous layer 1-10 mm thick over the entire surface of the heap or dump. This effective sealant uses materials which are readily available in large quantities and which are waste prods. in the chemical industry. The invention also solves the problems involved in the disposal of such waste prods.
