Test device for printed circuits - has optical viewer for observation of object on cross-table with accurate X=Y positioning using two carriages

The device for testing, and where necessary processing, printed circuits and the films and masks used in their production consists of a cross-table on which the test object is placed and an optical device with which it is observed using a servo motor for focussing and a matt observation surface or an internal reflecting surface. The device considerably reduces visual observation errors and operator workload. A friction wheel drives an intermediate frame in the X-direction on the table. The frame contains rails on which the test object mounting frame is moved in the Y direction.
