Zusammenfassung:	Petrol driven i/c engine has each piston cylinder connected to an outlet channel controlled by a valve, and a first valve-controlled inlet channel through which is fed a fuel/air mixture. A second valve-operated inlet channel (9) feeds in clean air, and is connected to the cylinder wall (2) which is covered by the piston (3) during its stroke. A throttle valve (11) controls air feed in the second inlet channel (9), and is commonly operated by a mechanism (12) with the main throttle valve (8) in the first inlet channel (5). In the operating mechanism (12) a cam drive (13) is incorporated.
