Zusammenfassung:	Triazolium betaines of formula (I) are new: In (I) R1 is H, 1-4C alkyl, aralkyl or aryl or aryloxy, the last two opt. substd. with 1-4C alkyl, halogen or nitro; and R2 and R3 are each 1-6C alkyl or together with the N atom to which they are attached, form a 5-7 membered heterocycle opt. contg. a further heteroatom. (I) are prepd. by reacting a cpd. of formula (R1)(NH2)C=N-NR2R3 (II) with an acid chloride of formula R4COCl (III) at 0-200 degrees C. and in the presence of a tert.-amine. Reaction takes place in an aprotic solvent. In (III) R4 is Cl or aryloxy, opt. substd. by 1-4C alkyl or halogen.
