Zusammenfassung: | The application is typically to medium frequency converters used for supplying induction surfaces at about 1000 Hz. The output of the rectifier (2) or inverter (4) is connected via decoupling capacitors (81) to a bridge circuit (82, 83, 84, 85). The bridge output resistor (86) generates a signal to act on alam and trip circuits (6, 61). With the main circuit healthy, the bridge output is adjusted until the current in the load resistor (86) is insufficient to trip the protection. Should an earth occur on either the ac or dc circuits of the converter the potential across the resistor rises and current flows to trip the protection. |
