Zusammenfassung: | A device is used for positional control of coupled mechanical systems. It may be used for continuous control of multiple axle combinations with any number of axles as found in construction vehicles, e.g. tractor vehicles with low-loader trailers etc. It continuously determines the optimum steering angle for linked axles without involving considerable transfer element dynamic loading or steering errors caused by flexible steering gear elements. The device uses the tractor-trailer angle or an axle steering angle as control parameter. The control feedback signal is transferred to the tractor fro the trailer mechanically and activates a servo-valve which supplies a hydraulic working cylinder with hydraulic oil until the trailer or steering angle reaches the desired value. |
