Zusammenfassung:	The retainer assembly for a disc brake caliper has a pin (13) held with clearance in at least one of two holes (11, 12). The pin has a counter sunk hole which receives the straight end section of a retainer spring without radial clearance. The retainer spring is formed into an open ring body which is concentric to the hole (12). This ring body locates with radial tension on the wall of the hole (12). The retainer pin (13) has a spherical head part (16 in the hole (12) which takes the spring.
