Zusammenfassung:A low cost system allows any operating malfunction in the filament bulbs of a road vehicle to be indicated by an LED. The main ignition switch (10) is coupled to a relay with current and voltage coils (21, 22) that are connected in series with the filament bulb (12) being monitored. The relay contacts (23) are coupled across series path including the indicator diode (15). If the bulb fails the relay remains closed and the indicator is energised.
