Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to an improved process for the mass polymerization of solutions comprising monoalkenyl aromatic monomers and optionally monoalkenyl nitrile monomers having a diene rubber dissolved therein wherein the improvement comprises dissolving a minor amount of an aliphatic mono-olefinic compound in said solution and mass polymerizing said solution, said olefinic compound forming free radicals with said monoalkenyl aromatic monomer that are more active than said monoalkenyl aromatic free radicals in grafting said rubber provided a higher grafted rubber phase.
