Zusammenfassung:A back pressure casting plant for non-ferrous metals has an injection device which is divided by a partition in two chambers. A mould casting machine has two lifting jacks to handle the moulds and a slewing arm can transfer them to the partition of the injection device. The housing of the top chamber can be swivelled around a pivot to transfer the moulds. By the overlapping execution of the operations, mould filling, dismantling and lifting the castings, and mounting a new mould, the productivity of the plant has been increased. The moulds can consists of >=2 parts and can be of complex shape with joints in several planes. Even very large castings can be handled.
